14. WuHu Web + Google Calendar Integration Disclosures
This section supplements the Privacy Policy for users who connect Google Calendar in the WuHu web app. It does not replace any existing mobile app disclosures, and it applies only when you choose to connect a Google account.
14.1 Google Data We Access
If you connect Google Calendar, we may access and process:
- OAuth authorization data, including granted scopes, access tokens, refresh tokens, and token expiry metadata
- Google account email associated with the connection
- Calendar list metadata (for example calendar id, calendar name, primary status, access role, and timezone)
- Event data needed for sync, including event id, title/summary, status, start/end date or date-time, and update timestamps
Google may include additional fields in API responses. WuHu is designed to persist only data needed to provide and maintain calendar sync functionality.
14.2 How We Use Google Data
- Authenticate your Google Calendar connection
- Show your calendars and let you choose which calendars to sync
- Create, update, and delete Google Calendar events from WuHu scheduled tasks
- Import and update WuHu tasks from selected Google Calendar events
- Store sync mapping metadata to prevent duplicates and keep data aligned
- Provide account-level integration status and troubleshooting
14.3 Sharing, Transfers, and Limited Use
- We do not sell Google user data
- We do not use Google user data for advertising purposes
- We do not transfer Google user data to data brokers or information resellers
- We do not use Google Workspace API data to develop, improve, or train generalized AI or ML models
- We share data only with service providers acting on our behalf (such as cloud infrastructure and data storage providers) and only as needed to operate, secure, and improve WuHu
- We may disclose data if required by law, legal process, or to protect rights, safety, and security
14.4 Retention and Deletion
- While Google Calendar is connected, we retain integration records such as token metadata, selected calendars, and sync mappings necessary to run synchronization
- You can disconnect Google Calendar at any time in WuHu Settings. On disconnect, WuHu attempts to revoke your Google refresh token and removes stored connection records, calendar records, and sync mappings from WuHu systems
- Tasks already created in WuHu from prior sync activity may remain in your WuHu account until you delete them or request account/data deletion
- You can request deletion of your WuHu account data by contacting hello@wuhu.dev
14.5 Security Controls
- Google API communication is sent over encrypted HTTPS connections
- Access to integration data is restricted to authenticated users and server-side workflows
- Row-level access controls are used to separate user data in our database
WuHu's use and transfer of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.
